Item Alias Group

The Item Alias Group option is useful for customers who prefer (or require) to have their own item codes and descriptions printed on sales orders, invoices, bills of lading, and lot releases, rather than your company codes and descriptions.

Once you create an item alias group the group can be assigned to customers.

Item Alias Group Fields

Alias Group	The alias group identifier.
Alias Group Name	The name of the alias group.
Item	Your item group.
UPC or GTIN	The alias group's item code, UPC or GTIN number.
Alias Name	The alias group's item alias name. Used to replace your item ID and name on the forms defined in Shipping Options .
SKU	The alias group's alias item SKU ID, if needed.
EDI Unit of Measure	The alias group's unit of measure used in EDI transactions.
Default Ordering Unit	The default item pack when ordering item, or LB.
Carton Fill Weight	The weight used in cartonizing and bills of lading case counts calculations.
Sell by Days	The number of days to add on to the date (defined in Item ) when calculating the sell by date for this group and this item. It will override the sell days setting for the item.
Primary COOL	The country of origin labeling (COOL) used by the customer.
Default Primary COOL in Order	Default the primary COOL identity during sales order entry, Y=Yes/N=No.
More COOL Aliases	Y=yes, N=no. Does this customer allow alternate COOL items to be used in place of the primary COOL and if so, do they have separate UPC or GTIN ID and names for the items. If yes an additional box will open to enter the new COOL identity, UPC/GTIN number, item name and SKU number.
